Jan Schuemann (MGH): TOPAS-nBio - Monte Carlo simulations for cell scale radiation physics and biology

TOPAS is a Monte Carlo simulation package that is designed for simulations of clinical scenarios. TOPAS-nBio is an extension to TOPAS that aims to further investigate the effects of radiation at the cell scale. TOPAS-nBio has been developed over the past 5 years and has been released last year. Here I will present the motivation and basic ideas, the status of the project, its potential and limitations.
